To Shasta Volleyball Families

After 18 years of coaching volleyball at Shasta High School and 8 years as a varsity coach, I have come to the difficult decision that it is best for me to step down from my role as head varsity volleyball coach and into the role of varsity assistant. I have made this decision due to the challenges of managing coaching responsibilities, a full-time job, and my family commitments. I look forward to assisting the new varsity coach and continuing as a coach and director for the Adrenaline Volleyball Club.

I have enjoyed being a part of this volleyball family, coaching our amazing players, meeting all the wonderful parents, and working with this great coaching staff. I look forward to continuing in this new role and continuing with the Shasta Volleyball Program.

I have recommended to the Admin that Dreux Karpinski be the next varsity head coach. She will be applying and will need to go through the interview process, but it’s our hope that she’ll be in that position next year. I’ve also recommended that Amanda will shift to the JV coaching position and Kelley will coach the Freshman. In this way, all of the coaches will remain the same, just having new roles. I’ve enjoyed coaching with this team of coaches and would like to keep the staff together.

I’m looking forward to fully supporting Dreux in this new role, as well as being able to assist in any way possible. Our next focus is club tryouts, and being ready to transition back into school ball once club is done. I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend at tryouts and moving into the new club season.
Thank you all again for the support you’ve given me and my family. We have truly enjoyed getting to know all of the people in our volleyball family.

• Tournaments are on Saturdays or Sundays depending on levels
• Local – Redding, Red Bluff, or Chico – Travel Area, Sacramento, Bay Area, Reno, Long Beach

Welcome to Adrenaline Volleyball Club. In our 17 years, we have trained players from all over Redding. We are made up of mostly Shasta High Volleyball staff but we coach players that plan on attending schools all over town. Our goal is the help you increase your ability and love of the volleyball. $475 Local 12s-18s – 1 Practice a week – Jan-April
Local AAU Volleyball is hosted by Quijote Sports and is under AAU. There are 5 local tournaments that will be held at Shasta College, Reb Bluff High School, Foothill High School, and other local locations. The competition is made up of local players and some Medford teams. Practice is on Sundays except tournament weekends.

$1000 – $1200 Local plus Reno and Long Beach – practice 2 days a week – Jan-May 16s
In this program the team will play 18s local and 16s at the Reno Nor Cal Championship and Nike Long Beach West Coach Championship. We also move to 2 days a week of practice. These fees do not include travel and lodging expenses. By playing up 1 level locally the program will take advantage of local competition while playing 2 highly competitive tournaments.

$1400 to $2000 – Travel – Jan to June – Practice 2 days a week – 18s
In this program, we will play in the WCVBA program in Roseville/Bay Area sites as well as a mixture of other tournaments that will discussed at our meeting 11/1 at 6:15 in the large gym at Shasta. Tournaments will determine the final price. Ex Power League, 2 Local tournaments, Reno, and Long Beach will be $1470. Add Orlando and it will extend through June and be $1950. The site will be undated after the vote.

Practice player – if there is room on a team, we will allow for up to 2 practice players at a discounted rate.
